Rachel Spence is a poet and arts writer. Her poetry collection Bird of Sorrow was published this year by Templar Poetry, who also published her pamphlet Furies in 2016.
Her work has been published in numerous magazines including Mslexia, the Indian Quarterly and PN Review.
As an art critic she writes primarily for the Financial Times and Art Quarterly. For nine years she was based in Venice but she is now based in London.
